Zakifo, which was was started by Jerome Galabert, Sipho Sithole and Andy Davis, is a member of Igoda which is a music festival circuit that includes Sakifo Festival, Azgo festival, Bassline Africa Day concert, and Bushfire festival. These festivals happen over a period of three weeks and have created an artist and festival goer touring circuit in the Southern African region.

Jerome Galabert is the owner and runner of Sakifo Musik Festival in Reunion Island as well as Reunion Electronic Groove, Francofolies and Ioma.
Sipho Sithole is the founder of Native Rhythms, Moshito and is currently a board member of Prasa
Andy Davis is the owner/editor of Zigzag magazine and founder of the Mahala music/lifestyle blog.
Gabriella Peppas is the festival co-ordinator, who is also 1/2 partner in Interpret Durban and the Director at Ilifindo Pty Ltd.
