Auditions For Dim-Dep, Musical Environmental Production

Auditions for Dim-Dep a musical project focusing on the environment, will take place at the Bat Centre, Durban’s small craft harbour, from 19-21 February.
Popular musician and theatre producer, Atlas Philani Duma, brings back his revitalised and re-energised 2015 show, Dim-Dep Musical: Faces of Environmental Success. He wants to use Dim Dep as a vehicle to create job opportunities for emerging drummers, dancers, actors and singers.
The production takes the audience on a journey on a whirlwind tour which will delight and engage. The interactive show will tour to communities in the eThekwini area to raise awareness of environmental issues as part of community development.
“Telling a story of the ancient times of the stone age era, Dim-Dep Musical 2018 brings about comparison between the stone age era and the 21st century with regard to human impact on natural resources, cleanliness, economic development and cultural diversity,” said Duma.
The auditions will be held at Bat Centre, 45 Maritime Place, Durban, all from 9am to 4pm:
Monday, 19 February: Drummers and dancers
