Comedian Neil Green and performer Bryan Hiles have fun in Durban’s majestic Botanic Gardens to celebrate Spring Day, by serenading “Lola” (who joins Bryan as part of the cast of Tie Another Knot in It, a Las-Vegas inspired musical revue). Neil and Bryan will both be performing at KZN’s foremost arts festival: the 25th annual Hilton Arts Festival taking place in the Midlands from 15 – 17 September.
South Africa celebrates Spring Day on 1 September every year. In the Northern Hemisphere, the Vernal /Spring Equinox marks the first day of astronomical spring which takes place in different countries on varying dates. In South Africa, 1 September also marks the beginning of Heritage Month, tourism month and Casual Day.
