Mandla Mlangeni And Friends In Concert

The Rainbow Restaurant and Concerts SA present Mandla Mlangeni and Friends in concert, Saturday 30 June.
Trumpeter Mandla Mlangeni travels with bassist Brydon Bolton from Johannesburg to The Rainbow this weekend, where they will be hooking up with some serious local jazz cats to produce the tunes of Mlangeni for your listening pleasure. On piano will be Sibusiso Mashiloane, who is no stranger to The Rainbow stage and audience, and who is finally getting the critical recognition he rightfully deserves. On saxophone will be Leon Scharnick who, as recently as 26 May, was fronting his own quartet at The Rainbow. Rounding off the quintet will be young drummer Kabelo Mokhatla.
Take a break from the FIFA World Cup antics to revel in some real talent.
