Daily News 2016 16 Days of Activism Against Domestic Abuse Monday 5 December 2016

Places of Work

Progressive corporates, retailers and places of work engage around difficult conversations and are mindful of the physical and emotional well-being of their team. Three of the city’s many proactive employers publicly added their voices to the 16 Days campaign.

The Daily News is encouraging staff and readers to wear orange in support of the UN’s campaign to symbolize a brighter future without violence, or paint an index finger with orange nail polish. Many local NGOs are suggesting wearing a white ribbon – which is South Africa’s nominated symbolic action for the campaign.
