Countdown to the the fourth Michaelhouse Festival of Music will be taking place at the magnificent Michaelhouse grounds this weekend from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 May.
This all-encompassing festival of music offers a unique musical experience with a carefully curated programme of a myriad musical genres – from rock to choral; orchestral to hip-hop; acoustic to jazz . The programme includes top national industry professionals sharing the programme with emerging talent and school and youth choirs and bands. Notable acts include PJ Powers, Khan Morbee and his band; singer-songwriter, speaker, author and playwright Audrey Mbuyazi; Indie/Soul/Pop Rock original artists Freddy L who is front-man for The Submay Run; hip hop artist ByLwanstra and KwaZulu Natal Philharmonic Orchestra.
Getting ready for a weekend of interesting music is Festival Director, William Silk, pictured in the Michaelhouse Chapel – one of the festival venues for this weekend.
