The International School of Performing Arts (ISPA) proudly presents Showtime! a glorious musical theatre showcase featuring the talents of their students, to be held at Olive Tree Church in Florida Rd on Thursday 14 August at 7pm.
Join the fabulous team of ISPA young performers for an unforgettable evening of iconic musical showstoppers. The talented students will perform songs from legendary productions like Dear Evan Hansen, My Fair Lady, Les Mis, The Greatest Showman and Hamilton, among others.
It is a great opportunity for prospective students and parents to meet the faculty, staff and current students and find out about ISPA’s Tertiary Programmes as well as experience the exceptional training and performance quality that ISPA provides.
The International School of Performing Arts (ISPA)is a tertiary academy dedicated to nurturing the talents of up-and-coming performers. With a focus on musical theatre, ISPA provides students with the opportunity to develop their triple threat skills – dance, drama and vocals as they gain experience in the performing arts.
The ISPA students have a busy time ahead: last weekend (Sat 9 Aug at 10am) they were on at the Hilton Arts Festival; they will be performing in Showtime! on Thursday 14; next up they are dancing in the Open Horizons programme at the Jomba! Contemporary Dance Experience at the Elizabeth Sneddon on 28 August in a piece choreographed by Gabriel Youngstar; then performing with the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra in the free Women’s Month Concerts at the Pavilion Fountain Court on Sunday 31 August at 11am and again at 1pm; and also doing a turn in Shall We Dance at the Playhouse from 12 – 14 September.
• For Showtime! – tickets are R80 for students and pensioners and R100 for adults.
