Garde takes his Neo-Drum sound around the country
In partnership with Concerts SA, neo-drum composer, singer, songwriter and producer, Siphesihle Siswana aka Garde, is embarked on The Appreciation Tour, coming now to Johannesburg and Durban.
The Appreciation Tour is a concert tour of intimate live music events promoting the Garde’s debut single. This tour sees Garde performing at live music venues in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban.
At the beginning of November, Garde announced a partnership with Concerts SA to produce his first ever independent tour – The Appreciation Tour, which he kick-started with three shows in Cape Town. After the success of his Cape Town leg, he announced tour dates for his Johannesburg shows and urged his Durban fans to not worry as he has something special planned for them.
His song Appreciation features the Cape Town based R&B singer Yanga Yaya and is themed around the appreciation of a lover. The song is a unique fusion of afrobeat, neo-soul, pop, and R&B, which gives birth to Garde’s unique Neo-Drum sound.
Garde will be performing at the following venues; Normvl Agenda @ S43, Youth Club Launch @ Yellow Wood Park Civic Centre, and First Thursdays Glenwood @ KZNSA Gallery.
Garde has worked with many well-known and established artists in the industry, whether it be collaborating or producing, Garde has worked with the likes of Kyle Deutshce, Aewon Wolf, Kaien Cruz, and many more.
Garde says: “I am super excited to be on tour with my team, we worked very hard creating our Neo-Drum sound and to take it on the road performing live in new provinces with local collaborators, and to new audiences. It is what truly I have always wished for, a dream come.”
Garde’s Appreciation Tour is supported by Concerts SA through the Music Mobility Fund, a funding mechanism which offers opportunities for South African musicians to undertake live music tours.
