Not quite the pastoral hunting scene which Vivaldi had in mind when he composed his iconic Four Seasons, but Munich-based Korean violinist, Ye-Eun Choi, got inspired in the Durban Natural Science Museum ahead of the final concert in the KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra (KZNPO) 2019 Winter Season taking place in the Durban City Hall on Thursday 20 June, at 19h30. After interval Felix Mendelssohn’s Hebrides Overture and Reformation Symphony make for a rousing climax to the season.
